Writing Prompt – The drawer

The drawer won't shut again, it never will. The wood is too warped. Much like the desk. Much like the house. Much like the people who used to live inside it. Full of so many things. Words. Emotions. Thoughts. Feelings. Slowly building and collecting until the container is damaged beyond repair.
